A 2-Day Leavenworth Itinerary
If you’ve only got 2-days to spent in Leavenworth, WA heres my recommended itinerary
Day 1:
Morning: Start your day with a scenic drive from Seattle to Leavenworth. The drive will take around 2 hours, so you can grab breakfast on the way or in Leavenworth.
Late Morning: Once you arrive in Leavenworth, head to Waterfront Park to take a leisurely stroll along the Wenatchee River. You can also rent tubes and go tubing if the weather is warm enough.
Lunch: For lunch, head to Andreas Keller Restaurant for some delicious German cuisine. Try the schnitzel or the sausages with a pint of their German beer.
Afternoon: After lunch, visit some of the local wineries in the area. I recommend visiting Icicle Ridge Winery, which offers tastings of their award-winning wines and has a beautiful outdoor seating area.
Evening: For dinner, head to Bären Haus for some tasty german cuisine. After dinner, take a stroll through downtown Leavenworth and check out the shops and boutiques.
Day 2:
Morning: Start your day with a hike in the nearby Enchantments. The hike to Colchuck Lake is a great option for a half-day hike. It's a 8-mile roundtrip hike that takes you through beautiful alpine scenery and ends at a stunning lake.
Lunch: For lunch, head to Munchen Haus for some tasty bratwurst and beer. They have a great outdoor seating area with views of the mountains.
Afternoon: After lunch, visit some of the local breweries in the area. I recommend visiting Icicle Brewing Company, which offers a wide variety of beers and has a cozy taproom.
Evening: For dinner, head to Visconti's Italian Restaurant for some delicious pasta and wine. After dinner, you can catch a live music performance at Icicle Creek Center for the Arts.
